Latest H1N1 news: More upcoming death.

Total death for H1N1 total 62, while 238 new cases brought the number of H1N1 infections to 3,857 cases. Just imagine that the number of death continue rising up but when will it stop? That is the question now. Public awareness about the virus is still low right now. We can see most of the public don't wear the mask. Maybe they think that people who wear mask is for those who are suspected only of have cough of flu. But it is important to us to wear the mask when going to public places especially to a crowded places.

The latest news is a six-year-old child with Down's Syndrome and a hole in the heart is the latest of three deaths resulting from complications due to influenza A (H1N1).

In order to prevent the spread of the decease, the government release a new act which is under Section 12 (1) of the Infectious Diseases Control Act 1988, anyone who knows of a disease that can spread to the public and purposely ignore quarantine warnings and infect others will be fined RM2,000 or a maximum penalty of RM10,000 or two years of imprisonment or both.
